Holding Company’s Structure

Grupo Bimbo is a holding company whose main assets are the shares of its subsidiaries. The Company also owns the Group’s main trademarks, such trademarks are also included among its principal assets, and therefore, the Company’s income mainly depends on profits and interests paid by its subsidiaries and royalties obtained from trademark license agreements executed by the Group.


The Company has a capital structure of 4,520,339,170 Series "A", common, ordinary, registered shares with no expression of par value, which are registered in the Securities Section of the National Securities Registry. These shares were initially quoted in the Mexican Stock Exchange in February 1980 when the Company held its initial public offering under the "BIMBO" ticker.
