The new Bimbo Light Toasted Bread is a product designed to answer to the needs of our consumers,

since it is low in calories and includes amongst its characteristics those of being practical and nutritional

New Bimbo Light Toasted Bread lets consumers enjoy the best flavor with only 45 calories per slice.

This new product reinforces our Bimbo Light product line.

The launching will be backed by TV ads.

Mexico D.F. June 2nd, 2005.- Bimbo launched the new Bimbo Light Toasted Bread at the national level. This product offers only 45 calories per slice and is geared to satisfy the needs of the market segment comprised of people concerned for their health and figure. It also extends the Bimbo Light product line.

“The new Bimbo Light Toasted Bread is a product designed to answer to the needs of our consumers, since it is low in calories and includes amongst its characteristics those of being practical and nutritional”, said José Manuel González, Bimbo Marketing Director.

Besides being low in calories, the new Bimbo Light Toasted Bread contains no added sugar or fats and is enriched with vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid and iron.

The new Bimbo Light toasted Bread will be available in all the various regions of Mexico, which are: Metro, Bajío, Center, Southeast, North and Northeast, and will initially be introduced through the Retail Channel and later sent to the Self-service and Convenience stores channels.

There will be sampling events organized in the major Mexican markets with points of sales advertising material, such as posters, danglers and stoppers, as well as a TV advertising campaign consisting of 10 second spots to be aired together with Bimbo Light Bread commercials. Beauty, heath and wellbeing magazines will also help introduce it. The campaign was developed by FCB Advertising Agency.
