Coronado launches its innovative “Easy-Spread

The Easy-Spread Caramel Candy maintains the characteristic

quality flavor, aroma and color or traditional caramel candy

It is the only spreadable Caramel candy.

This new product launch provides continuity to our other brand successes, such as Coronado “Cajeta Ligera” and “Cajeta Nuez” (light and pecan flavored caramel candy).

The new Easy-Spread Caramel Candy is super-practical and easy to manage.

Mexico City, May 3rd, 2005. - Under the slogan “Spreading had never been so easy” and with the objective of continuing with our innovations in the caramel candy market, Coronado has launched its new option: the Easy-Spread Caramel Candy (Cajeta); a unique product within its type that has come to form part of the Coronado Caramel Candy products family. Similarly to the Light and Pecan flavored Caramel Candy product, which have reaffirmed our brand in the preference of our consumers

“With this new Easy-Spread Caramel Candy we are creating a new category for there is no similar product. The concept is so innovative that we feel assured it will revolutionize the caramel candy market”, stated Rafael Rivera, Coronado Group Manager.

The Brand Marketing Executive, Vania Cureño added: “the new Easy-Spread Caramel Candy is consistent with consumer preferences and taste, since we have adapted to a type of caramel candy for which there is great interest as was found through various market research projects”.

The Easy-Spread Caramel Candy maintains the characteristic quality flavor, aroma and color or traditional caramel candy, but it is to easy to spread that consumers can easily use it on different surfaces, such as a slice of loaf bread, a piece of toasted bread, a cookie, a waffle, pancake on any other desired food.

The new Easy-Spread Caramel Candy will be backed by a TV campaign in which it will be mentioned and also point-of-sales materials, such as stoppers, mini-recipe books, ties and sampling events that will include cards providing all the information on the product. The advertising campaign was developed by McCann Erickson.

The Easy-Spread Caramel Candy comes in a 330 g. package size and the recommended retail price will be $25.00 Mexican Pesos.
