GRUPO BIMBO RECEIVES THE EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR ITS SHARED SERVICES CENTER

International Quality & Productivity Center is a world level organization that

looks for excellence in shared services providers and outsourcers’ best practices.

Last August 28th, the Grupo Bimbo Shared Services Center was awarded the FIRST PLACE of the Latin American Edition of the SHARED SERVICES CENTERS EXCELLENCE AWARD granted by the International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), a world level organization that looks for excellence in shared services providers and outsourcers’ best practices.

This awards assesses, among other things:

  • Geographic scope
  • Customer satisfaction level
  • Key performance indicators
  • Personnel development

Last August 29th, during the 6th Annual Latin American Shared Services & Outsourcing Week, held in Panama City, the Grupo Bimbo Shared Services Center received the FIRST PLACE of the Latin American Edition of the SHARED SERVICES CENTERS EXCELLENCE AWARD granted by the International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), a world level organization that looks for excellence in shared services providers and outsourcers’ best practices.

Throughout the event, global companies such as Grupo Modelo, Procter & Gamble, TACA, PepsiCo, Cemex, CapGemini, Telefónica, Alpina Productos Alimenticios, Philips, Bosch and Axtel shared their experiences and best practices. The SHARED SERVICES CENTERS EXCELLENCE AWARD was contended for by companies like Telefónica and BR foods, which held the second and third place respectively .

This award assesses, among others, the following indicators:

  • Geographic scope
  • Customer satisfaction level
  • Key performance indicators
  • Personnel development
  • Pricing model
  • Processes scope
