Ricolino launches the new Chick’s Clorophyl chewing gum

The new Chick’s Clorophyl chewing gum is the only breath freshening gum in the market

that contains chlorophyll and also combines the flavor of honey and lemon

It is the only chlorophyll chewing gum with a refreshing flavor of lemon and honey.

In monetary terms, the chewing gum segment is the largest in the Mexican confectionery products market.

Mexico City, May 30, 2005.- Ricolino announced the launching of its new Chick’s Clorophyl chewing gum, the only one with chlorophyll and a lemon and honey flavor. This new product will be added to the Chick’s chewing gum products family, and is offered by Ricolino, to consumers as a product that is unique in the market.

Chlorophyll can be found in green vegetables and has several beneficial properties for human beings. For example, it helps to cleanse the body and promotes the health of our circulatory, digestive and immune systems, among other benefits.

Ricolino Brand Executive, Alexis Díaz, commented that: “the new Chick’s Clorophyl chewing gum is the only breath freshening gum in the market that contains chlorophyll and also combines the flavor of honey and lemon, which turns it into a fresh and flavorful product that we are sure our customers will love”.

He also added that: ”in monetary terms, the chewing gum segment is the largest in the confectionery products market, and with this new product we seek to increase our share in a market where we already participate with our other Chick’s flavors”.

Clorophyl comes in packages containing 5 pieces of gum that are larger than those of their type currently in the market, and its price to the public is $1.00 peso.

This launching will be supported by TV commercials, point of sales materials, sampling and promotional items. The campaign was developed by Young Rubicam Advertising Agency.
