Grupo Bimbo Launches Operations In Morocco

Mexico City, April 27, 2017 – Grupo Bimbo announced the acquisition of Groupe Adghal, a company dedicated to the production and distribution of baked goods in Morocco.

With sales rising to around 11 million dollars and a 20-year track record, Adghal represents Grupo Bimbo’s gateway to a new market. The company has three production plants, more than 200 associates, and a portfolio comprised mainly of two product categories: sweet baked goods and cakes, marketed under brand names such as “Belle”, “Chapela”, “Rosco”, “Roscao” and others.

Groupe Adghal will become a part of the Organization under Europe, Asia and Africa (EAA), under the leadership of Pablo Elizondo Huerta, Senior Executive Vice President for Grupo Bimbo.
