Marisa Jorda is a member of the Board of Directors of Merlin Properties, serves as a member of the Sustainability and Technology Committee, and is a member of the Audit Committee (she was Chair of both the Audit Committee and the Appointments and Remuneration Committee). She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Bankinter (financial institution), where she serves as Chair of the Risk and Compliance Committee, as well as a member of the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee (was chair of the Audit Committee and served as a member of the Appointments and Sustainability Committee). In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Varma (private company), where she serves as Chair of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee. She is also Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Spain and a professor in the Board Directors Program at ESADE and IESE.
She has previously served on the Board and the Audit and Control Committee of Tubos Reunidos, S.A., and was a member of the Board of the European Finance Bank (Unicaja Group), where she chaired the Audit Committee. Marisa was also a member of the Jazztel Board and chaired the Audit Commission. Furthermore, she is a member of the Governing Board and the Audit Committee of the Institute of Directors and Administrators (ICA).
Throughout her more than 30-year professional career, Marisa has held various executive positions, participating in different Management, Investment, and Audit Committees. Notable roles include General Economic-Financial Director of the Deoleo Group, Director of Internal Audit and Corporate Governance at Metrovacesa, and General Director of Finance and Investments at the ONCE Business Corporation, among others in the Real Estate and Food sectors.
