President and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, Daniel Servitje, was honored in the United States as the International Executive of the Year by the Executives Club of Chicago.

The agency, founded in 1911, brings together business leaders, academics, NGOs, diplomats and philanthropists. According to Bimbo, the award was instituted from 1995 "to recognize business leaders who have made exceptional contributions to the global business community" .

Grupo Bimbo is the Mexican company with more employees in the United States.

Servitje welcomed the growth their brands have registered such as Bimbo, Marínela and Barcel in that country, where primarily serves Mexican and Latin market. Currently, Bimbo expands its participation in the preferences of other consumers.
