As expert bakers, we know that bread is enjoyed all around the world. To celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity, we want to present typical recipes from various regions that feature this essential food as the star ingredient.

Italian Churrasco (Serves 3) from Bimbo LatinSur
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, plus more for drizzling
- 500g beef steak (posta rosada, asiento)
- 2-3 avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1 large tomato, washed peeled
- 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 artisanal hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. Pour the oil into a preheated pan. Once the oil is hot, fry the seasoned beef steak with salt and pepper until browned on both sides. Set aside once cooked.
2. Cut the tomato into 9 slices about 1 cm thick. Season with salt and oil. Set aside.
3. Mash the avocados with a fork until creamy. Season with salt. Set aside.
4. Slice the hamburger buns in half and warm them in an oven for 2-3 minutes.
5. Assemble the Italian churrasco in the following order: the bottom of the hamburger bun, then the beef, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise to taste, and finally the top of the bun. Serve immediately while hot.
English Muffin from Bimbo Bakeries USA
Ingredients:
- 1 tomato
- spinach to taste
- 1 avocado (optional)
- 2 English muffins
- 2 eggs
- vegetable oil
- Salt and water to taste
Preparation:
1. Wash and slice the tomato into 4 slices. Wash the spinach. If using avocado, peel, pit, and slice it.
2. Split each English muffin in half. Set aside the muffin tops.
3. In a medium pan over medium heat, heat the oil.
4. Gently crack the eggs into the pan, being careful not to break the yolk. Cook for about 1 minute. Carefully flip each egg with a rubber spatula. Cook until the yolk is slightly firm, about 1-2 minutes. Place each cooked egg on the base of each muffin.
5. Add the spinach to the pan with a splash of water and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.
6. Place the tomato slices and spinach on top of the egg. If using avocado, add the slices now. Cover with the muffin tops to form a sandwich.
Chinese-Style Sandwiche from Bimbo Asia
Ingredients:
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 eggs
- cucumber
- tomato
- meat floss
- MANKATTAN whole wheat high-fiber bread or Yudane white bread
- 1 slice cheese
- Ketchup
Preparation:
1. Fry the bacon and eggs.
2. Slice the cucumber and tomato, and set aside a large or small scoop of meat floss (according to personal preference).
3. Take out the MANKATTAN whole wheat high-fiber bread or Yudane white bread and trim the edges.
4. Place one slice of bread at the base, arrange the cucumber slices, bacon, eggs, a slice of your favorite cheese, and tomatoes on top, and sprinkle with meat floss. Then, cover with another slice of bread.
5. Cut the sandwich diagonally and add ketchup to taste.
