Mexico, January 2019. The magazine Mundo Ejecutivo distinguishes Grupo Bimbo as the No. 1 most important company in the food sector in its ranking of the “1,000 Most Important Companies in Mexico.”

Mexico, November 2018. The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico presents Daniel Servitje, president and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, with the Honor Award during the tenth ceremony of the Italy Mexico Award.

Mexico, November 28, 2018. The magazine Mejores Empleos recognizes Grupo Bimbo within the top ten ranking of the 40 companies with the Best Jobs.

Washington, D.C., October 29, 2018. Daniel Servitje, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, received today in this city the Distinguished Leadership Award for Corporate Social Responsibility from The Inter-American Dialogue.

Mexico, October 2018. The Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN), recognized the career of the founder of Grupo Bimbo, Mr. Lorenzo Servitje, by awarding him the CONCAMIN 100 Merits Award in the In Memoriam category.

Merco (Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation), awarded Daniel Servitje, President and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, the recognition The Leader with the Best Reputation, obtaining an absolute rating of 10.

The Mexican Association of Communicators awarded the AMCO Award to Grupo Bimbo for its comprehensive Internal Communication campaign: Healthy and Safe #YoSoyCeroAccidents, which fosters a commitment to prevention and safety in operations among company employees.

Grupo Bimbo - along with Embasa, Fud and McCormick - were included in the Guinness Book of Records for making the longest hot dog line in the world, with an extension of 1,464.03 meters, equivalent to 10,000 hot dogs.

In June, 2018, Brand Finance, an independent English consultancy and leader in evaluation and brand strategy, included Bimbo within its Top 10 most valuable Mexican brands, which reaffirms the strength and growth of the company, both nationally and globally.

June 22, 2018: Grupo Bimbo was included as one of the 500 most important companies in Mexico in the ranking carried out by Expansión magazine, making it the only food company within the Top 10. Its presence stands out in the Salón del Honor as the fourth company that generated the most jobs inside and outside of Mexico, adding 139,000 employees to its workforce today. In addition, Grupo Bimbo is positioned in the ranking as the third Mexican company with the largest presence abroad, having operations in 32 countries.

London, June 5, 2018 – Axelos, granted Grupo Bimbo and EY the ITIL Experience Award: Collaborating For Success for the Digital Services Transformation Strategy project that was implemented globally and in all of largest bakery in the world’s IT operations, as well as the excellent teamwork between both companies.

June 11, 2018. The Consejo Empresarial de Salud y Bienestar (Workplace Wellness Council-Mexico), granted Grupo Bimbo the Reconocimiento Empresa Saludablemente Responsable (RESR®), due to its commitment to create and develop continuous improvements in terms of health promotion, healthy habits, disease prevention, self-care, and welfare in the corporate building.

On April 10, 2018, the Mexicanos Activos organization, dedicated to encouraging physical activity among Mexicans and thus prevent diseases that deteriorate their quality of life, granted Grupo Bimbo the Gold Distinction when verifying that it complied with and promoted health indicators such as healthy habits; spaces and opportunities; fitness index; and events that motivate physical activity.

On March 6, 2018 the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco) recognized Grupo Bimbo as one of the 3 Mexican companies with the best Corporate Reputation, by carrying out the best international practices in matters of corporate governance, in addition to having professionals and specialists in its governing bodies.

In February 2018, Grupo Bimbo was recognized for the second time as one of the most ethical companies in the world, becoming the first Mexican company and one of the few food corporations that are part of this list – prepared since 2007 by The Ethisphere Institute – on which 124 companies from around the world are included.

Grupo Bimbo was recognized for the third consecutive year as the Mexican company with the best corporate reputation by the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco) jointly with El Financiero Bloomberg. The ranking lists the 100 companies with the best reputation in Mexico, which also stand out for their social responsibility and corporate governance.

Grupo Bimbo obtained first place among the Mexican companies with the best reputation, according to a survey of consumers in Mexico conducted by the Reputation Institute and the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI).

In the Multilatinas Ranking, held in September - October 2016, and produced by América Economía magazine, Grupo Bimbo obtained the 13th position out of a list of 100 corporations, which meant an advance of 7 positions in comparison to 2015, when it ranked 20th, 11 positions above its placement of 31st in the 2014 edition. In October 2015, Bimbo was recognized as the food brand with the highest value in Mexico. The ranking takes into account the company’s financial value, its contribution, and the brand value, as well as the impact and the singularity that it has in the mind of the consumer, its level in the face of its competitors, its affinity with consumers, and how these factors differentiate it from the competition
