the score obtained by Grupo Bimbo is considered Strong and Robust
The study of the Reputation Institute contemplated 3,001 telephone surveys to Mexicans who gave their opinion of the 70 leading companies in their industry through its well known methodology RepTrakTM.
Mexican consumers evaluated Grupo Bimbo based on four emotional indicators: Trust, esteem, admiration and good faith.
In a recent poll to Mexican consumers performed by the Reputation Institute and Inmark México, Grupo Bimbo obtained a rate from the RepTrak™ Pulse of 73.4, placing it in the second place of the list of companies with the best reputation of Mexico.
According to the reputation strength scale, the score obtained by Grupo Bimbo is considered Strong and Robust (70-79 points). In addition, Grupo Bimbo is one of the 8 companies among 70 with a reputation level above 70 points. This indicates that the company has a significant level of trust, admiration and esteem, among the Mexican public.
Likewise, in the reputation classification by economic activity sectors, the food sector obtained the first place with 68.54 pulse points, followed by beverages with 65.43. This score is proof of the influence of an economic sector where a company belongs to as well as of the reputation perceived by consumers.
Reputation has an impact on sales
The results of the RepTrak™ Pulse México 2011 confirm that reputation has a direct impact on sales since it generates a positive behavior in consumers and therefore when they purchase products or services they provide favorable opinions.
The measurements carried out by the Reputation Institute and Inmark México, show that if a company improves its reputation 5 points, the number of people who would recommend this company or its products and services to other people, increases 7.2 points.
