South America

In this region we are present in six countries: Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru and Brazil. In them we produce and distribute almost 30 brands. 

Argentina

Bimbo Argentina was created in 1995. Here we are defined by salted bread, sweet bread and our frozen products. Tango, which originated in this country, is considered an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Brazil

In 2001, Bimbo arrived in the country after acquiring Plus Vita® and Pullman®. In 2008, Bimbo bought the local bakery Nutrella®. Brazil is home to one-third of the world’s rainforests.

Chile

Our IDEAL® brand was born in 1925 as a small bakery and pastry shop. In 1992 it became part of Grupo Bimbo. The oldest mummies in the world were found in this country.

Paraguay

We started operations in October 1, 2007, with the first products from Pantodos®. The luminosity is somewhat representative of the country, as it has an average of 310 days of sunshine per year.

Venezuela

In 1993, we started operations in the Venezuelan market. This country boasts the highest waterfall in the world and the largest lake in South America: Maracaibo Lake.
