Mr. José Ignacio Pérez Lizaur is an independent member of the Board of Grupo Bimbo (member of Evaluation, Compensation and Nominations Committee. He was a member of the Audit Committee until 2021). Until 2016 Mr. Pérez Lizaur was a member of the Board of Newell Brands in the USA (member of the Audit and Compensation Committees) and the Central American Bottling Corporation (CBC) in Central America and the Caribbean (Chairman of the Audit Committee). Until 2022 he was a member and President of the Board of Trustees of National Monte de Piedad in Mexico. He was also member of the Board of Walmex. Currently, he dedicates part of his time to various forms of participation in nonprofit organizations.
