Bimbo founders’ family backgrounds included a longstanding tradition of bread-making, going back to 1918, when Juan Servitje, Lorenzo and Roberto’s father, patented hisHigiénica Múltiple Póo, the first Mexico machine for manufacturing the much-beloved white-bread bun known in Mexico as a bolillo.
