In this edition, the countries with the highest number of runners were Mexico, with more than 43,000; Spain, with over 16,000; and Brazil, with more than 15,000.
Regarding this, Alberto Levy, Global Marketing Director at Grupo Bimbo, stated:
“At Grupo Bimbo, we genuinely connect our brand’s purpose with consumers. The Bimbo Global Race reflects this by placing people, their values, and communities at the center. We share goodness because we believe in inspiring, connecting, and building together.”
To commemorate its tenth anniversary, the Bimbo Global Race chose Mexico City as its main venue. The city served as inspiration for the design of this year’s official T-shirt, which celebrates the country’s cultural richness and reinforces the positive impact of the event.
Over its ten editions, the race has brought together more than 1.7 million participants worldwide and has enabled the donation of more than 29 million slices of bread. It has become a global movement that, under the motto “Sharing Goodness,” invites people of all ages to add their steps for a charitable cause, promoting collective well-being through physical activity and social support.
In Mexico, the host cities were Monterrey, where more than 2,900 people ran; Guadalajara, with over 5,600 registrants; Veracruz, with more than 2,500 participants; Puebla, with over 3,400 runners; and Mexico City, which recorded the largest turnout with more than 28,000 people.
