What does Kosher mean on my product label?

The Kosher concept refers to the set of Jewish dietary laws found in the Torah (which is the text that contains the law and the identity heritage of the Israelite people). These ancient laws dictate which foods are considered pure and suitable for consumption. In addition, these laws also indicate how they should be consumed and whether they are adapted to the latest food trends in the market.

Kosher certification indicates that the products comply with these precepts, ranging from composition and ingredients to the production process, especially regarding the preparation and cleanliness of the machinery used. This is a complete food review system that requires the close supervision of the Maguén David Community staff.

Certified Kosher products are considered pure, safe, and wholesome, so they also appeal to many non-Jewish people.
