Bimbo S.A. de C.V. Receives the Clean Industry Certificate
Good Entrepreneurial Environmental Performance:
a Road towards a Green Economy
Framed by the twentieth anniversary of the creation of the Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) (Federal Attorney’s Office for Environmental Protection), BIMBO S.A. DE C.V., RECEIVED THE CLEAN INDUSTRY CERTIFICATE.
Dr. Hernando Guerrero Cazares inaugurated the international congress “Good Entrepreneurial Environmental Performance: a Road towards a Green Economy”, where the Clean Industry Certificates were presented as an acknowledgement to leading companies in the Environmental Leadership for Competitiveness Program, as well as loyalty acknowledgements for companies with an uninterrupted participation in the National Program for Environmental Audits (Programa Nacional de Auditoría Ambiental) throughout these 20 years.
The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection, Dr. Hernando Guerrero Cazares, opened the international congress in order to communicate topics of great relevance for Mexican companies , as was evidenced in each of the panel sessions:
- Panel I: Green Competitiveness: energy efficiency and renewable energies in Mexican Companies
- Panel II: The Role of Companies in a Green Economy and Access to Environmental Justice
- Panel III: Green Economy and Fostering Policies for a Companies Sustainable Performance
The relationship between a green economy and companies’ sustainable environmental development policies were discussed and analyzed in these panel sessions.
