Baked for Nature
Building a better future for the planet and its people.

We have a plan divided into three areas: zero waste, zero net carbon emissions, and regenerative agriculture. They serve as our guide for how we deploy strategies that benefit the planet and the environment.

ZERO WASTE

We promote the development of recyclable packaging, committing to innovation and ensuring the quality and safety of our products. We strengthen production and consumption practices to prevent food waste and promote increasingly efficient and responsible water use at all our facilities.

NET ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS

We mitigate the effects of climate change throughout the value chain by neutralizing our carbon footprint through the use of renewable electricity, and carbon capture through regenerative agriculture.

REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

We promote agricultural practices that enrich soil health, capture carbon and build resilient ecosystems.

Targets 2.3 and 2.4: We believe that regenerative agriculture helps ensure a long-term supply of essential ingredients. We partner with suppliers and farmers to implement practices that improve soil health, such as crop rotation, which strengthen resilient ecosystems and contribute to farmers’ well-being.

SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

Target 6.1: We train people in technical knowledge related to environmental stewardship, promoting access to safe drinking water and the circular economy through transformative activities in communities.

Target 6.3: We ensure that water from our operations undergoes treatment processes for reuse, promoting sustainability practices at production sites equipped with wastewater treatment plants.

Target 6.4: We promote water conservation and efficient use, from the fields through regenerative agriculture to our facilities.

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

Target 7.2: We prioritize the transition to renewable energy through agreements with clean energy producers and our own projects.

Target 7.3: We optimize energy consumption by adopting efficient technologies, low-consumption systems, and standards of sustainability in building construction.

Target 7.a: We create synergies with our value chain to promote the exchange of knowledge, cleaner technologies, and responsible practices aligned with our sustainability goals.

SDG 12: Responsible Production and Consumption

Target 12.2: We promote responsible sourcing by ensuring the traceability of key inputs and guaranteeing the sustainability of natural resources throughout the responsible supply chain.

Target 12.3: We prevent waste and maximize the use of food, prioritizing uses with the lowest environmental impact, such as reusing it as livestock feed.

SDG 13: Climate Action
